Snap Caps and Dummy Rounds

What kind do y’all prefer?
I like the bright colored ones for safety but I also like the weighted ones for realism.

I love the A-Zoom, metal body with rubberized primer area.
I’m a bit of a duffer myself, but I always recommend everyone get snap caps to practice with. Everything from loading, presentation, draw/ready ups and firing, mag changes, immediate/remedial action drills. Love ’em!

I have tired a few.
The plastic ones got messed up when I short cycled the action, and it fell apart.
The metal ones are much better.

I teach using the A-Zoom products when I can get them.

I have worn out a bunch of both, but I have broken the plastic ones enough that I won’t buy them anymore.

It sounds like the A-Zoom are the popular choice.
I picked up the Traditions at Academy to teach how to use a single action revolver. It’s become the stick shift of the gun world. No one knows how to use it.
The caps don’t look like they will last though.
