    I hope it is they are just going though the stages of grief, find the strength to see their good fortune, and see it as an new opportunity to write the next chapter in their lives.  They will determine how well that chapter is written.

    That’s heartbreaking. I can’t even imagine how they must feel.  This is one of the worst tragedies I’ve seen in my lifetime.

    @daisy,

    With respect, I disagree.

    Spend time in a real third world country and you will want to slap these people and tell them to get over themselves and move on.

    Even the people in the shelters have it better than many I have seen in Afghanistan.

    Just wait those people will find our that Clinton sold Chinese right of emminent domain and with us default looming guess who owns the land by giving worthless us treasuries? Land value determined by government,  given for debt hawaii is on list too. You get resettled with some $$ government clears debt and China owns  ca and Hawaii.
