AnonymousIs anyone loosing funds lately? I don’t do much, can use what you don’t have, but everything is going south and I’m not happy. I am not flat-lining but I had a bit more cushion at the beginning of the month than I do now. I’m also not investing another dime til things look a whole lot better!

We only do mutual funds inside of retirement and college savings. When things were awful market wise we got nervous and thought about pulling out, but slowly and steadily over the years, we’ve made steady progress by leaving the money there.
But individual stocks or companies? Nope.

Buy low, sell high.
We are due for a correction and have been for sometime now. I am surprised it has not happened earlier.
Is it really going to be as bad as some have predicted? No one knows. And if they did, they would of won the Powerball already.
If it really does go that bad, I dont think any of it will matter.

AnonymousThere is no stock market anymore. It has been killed in the 80s if not earlier than that. Wall Street is just a casino and if you are into gambling you’re welcome to go there. For me, I stay away and use my money more wisely.
In my opinion, when the crash will come, it will come fast and the main street “investor” will be left with nothing. This time the crash will involve the bond market as well so people who followed some balanced investment strategy will be hit hard as well.
Do I know for sure. Nope. But to my credit I took fair advantage of both the dot com bubble and the financial bubble 10 years ago and have not lost one dime in either because I saw them for what they were. This time is taking longer than I expected thanks to continuous printing of money and issuance of debt but that just means that it will be worse when it happens.
