    Yes, I have included the names of the recipe providers although they have passed to their reward, because we should happy that they shared  then what we need now or in the future

    Pear Pudding by Mrs P J Lavelle

    Pare and quarter 6 pears, cover with water and boil ½ hour

    Mix 2  cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of backing powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, rub in 1 teaspoon of butter,  add 1 egg beat up lightly and enough milk to make a soft dough; add to pears and boil 20 minutes. Mix in marshmallows with the liquid and serve hot.
