Been also seeing reports of new cases in China too. They have not beaten this thing yet.

This is what happens when you have high-speed transportation across large swaths of country and around the world. A century ago it took weeks to months to make the same trip, and very few people needed to or could afford to.
So yeah, now we’re going to see ping-pong action for clusters and lockdowns. Our own systems (infrastructure, economic, political) are making this pandemic really hard to beat.
