Went to fire up the generator and it stopped.
And he couldn’t get it going again. So he went and bought another.
Then he offered me the original, not a lot of hours on it, but he did break the fuel shutoff valve off when he went to drain it.
Well of course I accepted it, shortened the lock nut on the shutoff valve and screwed the valve back in after removing the stub with an ez-out.
Shot the intake with some ether, and it fired up and stalled. Gas coming from the tank.
Pulled the carb off and cleaned it out, dang ethanol gas. Put it all back together and it fired right up.
Now I just need to get some more gas cans to put some back for it.
May even consider converting it to dual-fuel, they have that as an option for this type now.
Not bad for $12 in ether and carb cleaner and half an hours work.
