You probably read the rules when you were signing up – (you DID read the rules, right?) but here’s a quick rundown.
We want to keep this forum a friendly place where anyone who wants to learn about survival and self-reliance can feel welcome.
No politics.
No politics are allowed whatsoever in the main forum. This means you don’t deride other political parties, you don’t promote your own political party, and you avoid getting into arguments about these things. If you do, your comment will be removed and we’ll warn you not to do it again. If it happens a second time, you will not be allowed to stay in the forum. There IS a section in the Wild West Subforum for politics. This is unmoderated and it’s up to the members who choose to participate there to remain civil.No religion.
This forum is open to people with many different belief systems. We’ve found things remain a lot more peaceful and focused if we simply remove this as a topic of discussion. This means you don’t criticize the religions of others, you don’t promote your own religion, and you don’t answer questions from other members with religious doctrine. This does not mean that Selco and Daisy worship the devil. It simply means that we would like for you to avoid discussing what almost always turns into a heated topic in our forum. There IS a section in the Wild West Subforum for religion. This is unmoderated and it’s up to the members who choose to participate there to remain civil.No abusive behavior.
Just be nice. You can disagree without being uncivil. Everyone is here to learn and share. If that isn’t what you’re hoping for, you may want to choose a different forum. No name-calling, no racism, no derogatory speech, no insults. Not here on this forum. Not even in the Wild West Subforum can you behave in this manner.No selling.
Many people have their own products and websites. That’s really great and we have ONE area for this, the Marketplace. You may promote what you sell in this thread only. This forum is run by Daisy and Selco and only they are permitted to sell products or use affiliate links. We appreciate your cooperation with this. It is bit hard to give you “generic” answer to this, but in the essence if your topic got banned in our fb group there was good reason for ban.
On the other way if you want to talk about politics or religion in depth there are subforums for that here, so just go on.
If you read rules of the forum i think it is pretty clear what is all about, if you have additional specific questions about it feel free to ask.
I hope this helps.
P.S. next time when you show up on my real courses again, I will give you some real hard excersises and tasks, because you testing my English knowledge levels with questions like this.

I go through and read all these comments and discover I’m surrounded by smart a**es. It’s like motherhood but with 350 children.
In answer to some questions I saw:
Sebastian, if it was banned on the FB group, it’s because the arguing was getting out of hand. That is pointless. No one learns and everyone just gets mad and flounces away. You can post more controversial stuff in the Wild West area of the forum but I’d really love for this to be a positive experience for everybody, you know?
Forums: Yeah, this is very 90s/early 2000s, but I believe it’s more private. It’s definitely more private than the Book of Faces. Plus, I loved forums back in those days and am still friends with some folks I met on old-school forums.
Goats: They’re like mischievous toddlers with hooves. That is the reason they’re cute – because no one would put up with them otherwise.

Regarding goats…they are only good if you don’t own them or have to take care of them. XD I had to do so from age 7-17 and I was NOT a fan. They are the most bull-headed creatures (and we removed their horns!) that kept jumping out of 6-7 foot pens. But they do eat everything (so natural lawn mowers) and make a ton of milk. Also, good for meat. But seriously, if I got them again in the future, I’d make someone else milk them (they will kick over your pail every time, or kick your hands and chew your hair). In all seriousness, too, we made sure we locked up all goats around Halloween…

Hi, Cambria! I think the issue is that this is pretty old school so it doesn’t have the fancy bells and whistles of some formats.
To find a thread, you can look on the sidebar for “Recent topics” which are threads that were recently started. Click on the name of the thread and it will take you to that thread.
If you want to see what people are talking about, look for “Recent replies.” Those are the threads that have been most recently active.
If you want a category of thread types, look on the same sidebar for “Forums” – this will take you to the general forum, where you’ll find all the topics and subforums.
I hope this helps! If not, please feel free to ask questions until you feel comfortable 🙂

What are Morals? What are Ethics?
Even the dictionary confuses the two, they are not the same. Morals are the ‘rules’ society places on desired behavior that doesn’t harm others. And morals are enforced by society’s rules or laws.
Ethics are what a person places on him or herself. We behave ethically because it is right behavior in our own estimation.

MN Dude, Selco and I met back when I was a partner in Prepper’s University. He did a webinar for us there. He and I chatted a little bit before the presentation. A bit later, I was curious about a few things he had mentioned in the webinar, so I sent him an email and asked if he would write an article for my website. His fantastic articles became a regular thing and we became buddies. We decided to work together on some projects and here we are. 🙂 Selco is a really great guy.

What no goat cheese: I have read the rules as well and I agree. I am learning my way around and love what I see. Very friendly people. I to have been on a couple of other forums that went by the wayside. Though one was really great for a long time with great folks, it got hacked. When it was fixed so many people had already moved on and now no one to keep an eye on things so a lot of trolling and other mess. I had to get away from it. Please don’t let that happen here. Owner of that site is AWOL.

Ok, have read again and agree as well. I came on here yesterday and the day before and a lot of porn was on here. So I didn’t log in. Just got off as thought it might be infected. I also have noticed no one has been on here much at all.
Got an e-mail IPL schedule PDF download, Indian premier league IPL 2020. Don’t know what that is but it did bring me here to the rules. Hoping it is not something that will infect my computer. Seems something is going on. Just being careful.

Yeah, we get hit with SPAM every now and again. Not as bad as it used to be. But about once or twice a week on average.
The alternative is to put everyone on “needs approved” before posting. That would require yours truly to have to read and approve each and every post. Bit cumbersome.
That is option of last resort!
So, instead, I pop on a few times a day, check for SPAM, delete as necessary.
I must admit, the IPL Indian Cricket thing was new as far as SPAM. Unless there is an .exe attached to any email you get, I think you should be ok.

I try my best, but this site can and will go days without those stupid posts, then we get hit with a dozen or more.
One morning I logged in and there were 101 of those.
I have to go though and manually delete them.
I put them on a blocked list, but they just create a new account and spam us again.
I try to keep on top of it, but based off the IP addy, many are overseas.

We have another option at our disposal: Put everyone into “Awaiting moderation approval.”
But that is just as time intensive as the SPAM getting posted, then deleted.
And, with the seasons changing, I will not be at the computer as much as I am now.
So, while it is disgusting, it is what we have.
