Gold was up $23 today to $1,552 per ounce. Was at $1,562 in Sept, $1,449 in Nov and now back up again to $1,552 today. Silver is back up over $18 per ounce, but not near the high last year around $19.50.

Gold is reacting to the attack and their threatened response.

Neutron bomb , destroys population , but leaves most structures intact . Half life of hours after detonation  = can occupy area shortly after strike , heavy clean up .

I just read an article about how

Google searches for “military draft age,” “iran,” “world war 3,” “us draft,” “draft exemption,” “draft requirements,” and “is there a ww3” spiked around 10 am est. Friday and have been elevated ever since.

Hashtags such as #WWIII, #WorldWarThree, #WW3Memes and #WorldWarThreeDraft have been trending on Twitter in the last 24-hours.

    And,

The Selective Service System website crashed on Friday after a surge in traffic was seen following the killing of Iranian General Qasem Suleimani.

Is it just me, or does this kinda seem like hysteria?
The wife said she heard a NPR report while driving home, and the reporter was doing everything he could to get the guy they were interviewing to say, “This is bad.”

I am just waiting to see what is going to happen. Things are linning up now. I am thinking WW3 maybe March or April. Could be wrong. But again things are linning up.  We will not win this war.  We will be to busy with our own mess.  Civil war and what ever else. Possible EMP.  There are so many if’s that there is really no way to know what will happen. All countries are on edge now. Right now I am seeing the rise in both food and gas and that is going to get worse. So I am going to spend my time inventorying everything I have, reorganize and buy more ammo while I still can. That will be on a cash basis only.

Russia has a great deal of influence over Iran , about their only ally . Putin lives in the real world , its not in his country’s best interest . You can bet that privately , he well understands WHY we did the strike , he would most likely do the same . I bet that he will exert his influence , behind the scenes to keep full blown War from taking place . He is not going to sacrifice his country for Iran , or anybody else .

How much of the initial MSM kneejerk is real or hysteria?
It has got to be good for ratings. Seeing as how the impeachment hysteria ratings dropped off is this is next hysteria of the week?

Now, a cyber-attack on our grid, I think that could be a real possibility.

@tolik, yeah, I think Iran might take some advice from Russia, and maybe to a degree China. A sudden spike in oil to $150 might be ok for Russia in the short term, but not sustainable.
    China, definitely not.
