    Thanks for sharing!  Elsewhere I posted how the same type of event nearly did in northern New England in 1816:

    I just found this. Very interesting. Has anyone been paying attention to Yellowstone. Seems that volcano is becoming a bit active. I also found out my insurance does not cover earthquakes. Normally we don’t have them. But the one in Northern VA was felt and then a couple months or so ago there was one in the Atlantic that was felt by many. So now I have to check into rather I should be getting earthquake insurance. Just more money to dish out but guess it would be better than having the damage from one and no insurance for it. I think with the way our weather has been changing, it is time to check our homeowners insurance to make sure of what we are and are not covered for.
