In my son’s case, they will probably switch to online schooling, as they do whenever we have a snow day or bad weather day. I live in the Atlanta area and we don’t have very many snow days.

Hey, Crow Bar. What’s up with all the negative, panic pumping articles you are highlighting? Of course, this is a prepper web-site but why stoke folks fears? I assume you are an important person as a site moderator, and many readers may be significantly affected by your take on things, but I’d like to encourage you to find a common sense balance….this is not the end of the world pandemic that some seem to want in order to justify their extreme prepper positions. I don’t think most folks on this web-site are of that sort. Whatever. Be blessed and consider what influence you want to have.

Just keeping everyone informed with the latest information as it becomes available.
I dont see the information as either positive or negative. It is just information. How everyone reacts or sees it is their prerogative.
A sixth person died of the cornonavirus in the UK.
6 people dying from this thing, ok, that is bad.
However, it appears the UK is doing a better job from a morality rate stand point than say Italy, or Spain. That is good.
All depends on ones perspective. -

AnonymousMuffy, how do you KNOW “this is not the end of the world pandemic”. I can’t predict the future. If I could I would be a billionaire. It could just be a slow moving one, albeit its increasing speed every single day. The military has a policy that goes something like this: You plan for the worst possible actions the enemy (c-virus) CAN do and not what you THINK the enemy Will do. I just ordered 400 sandbags that will be delivered to me tonight by a friend that works at the local supplier. Once I have those in hand I will order a dump truck load of sand. All just in case I have to fill the windows with sandbags or dig gun pits for defense. Crazy, maybe so. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

muffy all signs are this is not a regular and it has passed the stage of containment compared to Spanish flu 17 and 50 million dead.
Corona virus WHO 3.4 deaths per thousand Harvard aND UK virologist 70 per cent infection rate world population 7.7 billion. 7.7 billion x .7 infection rate and a .034 death rate equals 183,260,000 million dead In less than a year …… get why it’s important not not take lightly? It’s not fear porn it’s math. Worse is if reinfection rate is like flu or the death rate goes up. There is second part that s now incoming no matter what huge shortages as trade boils to zero. No goods to make with just in time manufacturing as no parts. No.medicine to fight off the pneumonia after and it’s both viral and bacterial at same time. Then you go on ventilator and in 9 more days you are full.of candida fungus and die…
If you think 3.4 is correct rate and the Chinese and other government are telling you the truth well that’s on you.
Are they using this to do other things non related like cashless and get rid of some pesky people hell yeah. Strealing you pension? Making you a ply able slave for food and water vaccinated or travel restrictions 5g implementation yes to all but this was always the plan this is not random. To say crowbar is not finding other news to talk about or consentrating on this too much this is a black swan even for sure no way around it now.
Just get ready things are going to get bad

Good one!
Thing is, some dismiss it as a mild flu. That may be true for the young. But the mortality rate goes up for those older or the very young.
And this is not instead of the usual flu. It is the usual flu and the coronavirus. People are going to require hospitalization, more so than usual. Our healthcare system is not prepared for this, and they have been saying that for years. There is going to be a shortage of everything from hospital beds, to healthcare providers to supplies.
Then add all the people who require professional healthcare attention already, never mind ER visits.
