I have been reading news articles about what Biden is doing and none of it good.
He is removing Trumps orders of lowering the epi pen, insulin, and many other prescription drugs and letting big pharma raise the prices back up again. This is going to hurt many Americans both from the left and right.
He put a holt to the pipe line from Canada to the US that would have made us independent of oil from other countries. That putting thousands out of work.
Then there is the border wall. He is going to let all these illegals come in to our country and many will be bringing the corona virus, crime and anything else. Not to mention it will keep Americans from getting jobs as the illegals get those. They will bankrupt our country like it is not already in trouble.
Prices at the pump is already going up, our water bills, natural gas bills, electric bills and even cable bills are going up at an alarming rate. All of ours has gone up and we just got our natural gas bill today. a huge jump of over $60.00. We have done nothing different to have that big of an increase. We have several neighbors that are raising cane about it. A couple that had not even been home reported that there electric bill jumped by over $150.00 and they had not been home in a month. No lights, no cooking, nothing running. Their heat is gas not electric and that was turned down..
I think that with many people out of jobs, small businesses closing down for good. And we just had a farm market shut down that had been there for many, many years. Our country is going to be in big trouble.
The executive orders that Biden is putting through is putting thousands more out of work.
And beware of Susan Rice. Trouble is coming. Just not sure as to how yet. Thinking shadow government as she might be the president behind the scenes.
Men can now play in woman’s sports and use the women’s bathrooms and showers. That order has already gone out. Boys can use the girls bathrooms and no questions asked. They don’t have to be gender neutral to go into the girls bathrooms. I see the crime of rape going way up.
Our taxes again will fund abortion right up to the time of birth and beyond.
And then look at how they are treating the national guard. Having to sleep in a parking garage in freezing weather and only 2 bathrooms for well over 5000 men and women.
A lot of this comes from Rushmore daily news.
There is a lot more that the Biden administration is out to do and none of it is good for we the people. It will get worse, much worse.

I did 12 with regular army and 8 in the guard. I’m retired and have been a while so I can speak freely.
I’m still scratching my head trying to figure out why anyone thinks this was bad or unusual. We all know we are second class and The Kings Men not to be confused with The Kings Inner Court. Governors are no better. Mayors are whinebags who will remove you the quickest.
I’ve slept everywhere, eaten whatever when or if it was available and not expected anything more. I’ve even fallen out due to lack of fresh water. They were done with them so out the trash goes. We know the drill. It goes with the job. They weren’t even trusted to have empty mags so it looked like the weapon was loaded so…..
Its just another day. We get paid. Mind over matter- they don’t mind and you don’t matter

Whats coming down the pipe ? Communism
January 24, 2021 at 2:49 pm #32151
Right on Tolik.
Matt. I thank you for your service. I understand what you are saying about it’s no big deal that the Biden administration forced the national guard out and into a freezing basement to sleep on a cold cement floor. It might be what you are used to but. We have a pandemic going on and over 200 soldiers now have corvid. They say many more are expected to have it because of the sleeping quarters they were forced into. That is the big concern not just that they were kicked out of the buildings and forced to stay in a parking garage. Hoping now you can understand why people are angry about what Biden Administration did. Those soldiers didn’t sign on to get sick from this corvid virus.
January 25, 2021 at 6:10 am #32155
They also didnt sign on to be a stooge against their own people , unlike LEs
January 26, 2021 at 6:50 am #32165
Laws made by The People. LEs hired by The People. Politicians voted in by The People.
At some point The People have stop start pointing fingers at themselves because that’s where The Issues start.
I remember arguing against The People on 9-12 because The People were demanding military roadblocks for “their” safety. I argued that is not what you want. I was both military and LE at that time.
Just like New Mexico and the Utah Utes crying about oil n gas getting shutdown when you voted in a guy who stated all along he was going to and they did so in extremely high percentages.
There is plenty wrong with LE and the military that needs fixing. Again it’s starts with The People.
Your constant negative comments and quirps carry more weight when you’ve served and/or done the job.

Thats what the Soviets always claimed ……………everything was done by and for the people ……..yeah right .

Well I’m not Soviet. I’m an American. How bout you?

And just what do you think you accomplished over there ? result is not much . Dont want negative , then get off survivalist web sites , and go watch Mr Rodgers , where everything is cheerful and bright . There comes a time when elections are a stroke because they do what they want anyway . Its called corruption , and we are now so rife with it , that it may not get fixed without a restart . You another LE can do no wrong guy ? Thats fine , but there comes a time when ” we were only obeying orders ” doesn’t cut it anymore . Dont get your ass chapped because somebody does not think the way you do . Its going to happen , get used to it . Fact is , more people look at the cops the same way they do gang members ……..with disdain . With peace officers gone , thats what you get ., stooge enforcers ,. The military ? thats a whatever , a means to an end for many 18 -20 year olds , but dont think for one moment you actually accomplished one darn thing for your country , it was all for Uncle Scam . We are not any safer , they are still there , they are still coming over here . Waiting for your next butthurt attack .

You can’t answer the question can ya?
I’m not a cop.
As far as what I did “over there” and over here I’m well aware of who and what because of the WWW. It’s a wonderful tool to continue connecting with folks. I’m not going anywhere and I’m going to continue to rebuke your constant negativity do nothing did nothing. 🇺🇸

Well this didn’t go the way I thought it would. I was thinking going down the pipes as to how jobs, price gouging, groceries and lots of other things that look like might happen. Things like, and I am speaking from experience about how we can get the proper help for our loved ones. My DH is 83 years of age. He has a surgical wound that won’t heal. No wound care as Medicare will not pay for it unless he goes to them everyday. He cannot go everyday. I would need to get a handicap ride for him which I cannot do as they say he doesn’t fit the need for it yet. But I can’t get him in and out of the car without help. I would have to pay private out of pocket for his care. So I know the medical field is going to get much, much worse under Biden with a socialist/communist agenda in place.
How about jobs. Already over 11,000 lost jobs in both the US and another 11,000 in Canada. What will this do to our economy. More jobs are going out of business as the min. wage is now increased to $15.00. Much needed but small business cannot afford it. This is more what I was meaning. What will happen now that we are back into the Paris accord and that new green deal. Biden/Harris is going to force us to buy electric cars. They are putting a 25 cent monthly tax by the gal. each month on gas from what I understand. So what will the gas prices be come 2 years from now.
What do you think will be coming down the pipes on all of this.
January 29, 2021 at 4:31 pm #32741
Here is another one , expect a flood of 3rd world sludge to be pouring into the country .
January 29, 2021 at 7:38 pm #32887
Right you are Tolik. They are opening the flood gates and this country is going to be a total disaster. I heard Biden is trying to cut loose several hundred violent illegals. I think it said about a 1000 at a time each month into different cities and counties. Not sure about this amount though. Will have to go back to the source and double check that out.

Our natural gas doubled last month, with no change in the household. Keeping the lights on, running water, and gas for work is going to get Interesting to say the least.
February 5, 2021 at 2:18 pm #33316
Same here as well Jacobtrust. I have been keeping our temp in house at 72 because DH gets so cold and stays wrapped up in a blanket all day. I won’t raise that but I am also afraid to lower it back down to 68* where I always kept it. Natural gas, the electric, water and gasoline has all started climbing. And also if you check your credit cards, I think the interest rates are climbing again. One reason I always pay them off each month if I even use them. Though this past year with Dh’s health has found me ordering on line more and more and you need a credit card for that.

yep, understand what you’re saying….its scary to read, watch, listen to what may be coming….what’s happened so far is unreal…seems like a sci fi moving coming to life! and now with all the bad weather situations happening, people arent prepared for any of this! will we ever be? can we fully go off grid, if so how, where? I see everything going up in price as mentioned, each week when I hit the store, sitting here thinking what else to do to prepare even more? I cant go buy a bug out place, cant be walking around looking for some, cant buy new car, wondering know what to do with what little finance I have, haul it out and pay taxes, leave where it is and start taking distribution – still pay taxes, take amts out of savings – stash, just what? I’m afraid I will lose everything when we have another crash!!! I’m too old to work to build it back up. so any advice? yes, whats coming down the pike isnt gonna be pretty, and we’re already sliding down….. littlesister…take care of your DH and your own.

DH passed on Valentines day in the early hours of the morning. I am struggling with all that needs to be done. He is missed so much. But now I need to move on and it has not been an easy task. I am looking at maybe selling the house in a year or so to move out of VA. DD and her DH has moved to N. Carolina just over a month ago when her DH got promoted. Grandson moved with them and is now looking to go into the military. He is looking at going with the marines. I am not happy about him going in under a biden administration. But it is what he wants to do. I still have one granddaughter living here and she will be moving to S. Carolina next year after college in Dec. to go to medical school. So I will have no family around me. Daughter will be about a 3 hour drive from me if I stay here. But I have been feeling a need to move on from here for a long while now. If we go to war with China or any other country, it will not be safe here. Just hope I will have that year or maybe a couple of years to get it together and move on. Might be moving to N. Carolina with daughter and buy a place in the country there. She is near Rocky Mt. Don’t know anything about the area though and she is still learning her way around. Gives me a lot to think about. I do know that if I sell this house, it will have to pay for the next house I buy and hoping I can find one much cheaper than what I sell this one for. That way I will have some money for things I might need when the time comes.
Already I am seeing gas prices rising at a fast pace, natural gas, electric all have gone up in price as well as water now going up. Taxes as well is going up. So what is coming down the pipes with so many out of work is going to hit so many very hard. I won’t know my financial situation yet for another month or so. Trying now to figure it all out. Just hoping I can keep my head above water as well. It will take me a good year to get through everything I have been going through. I am just glad my DH is in heaven and no longer has to deal with all this mess. I know I will join him one day but for now, I need to keep pressing on and it is not easy.

I am very sorry for your loss. It sounds like a tremendous amount to think about.
I don’t have any experience with “tiny homes”, but one might be an option that would allow you to move to a more affordable home. I know that some of the tiny homes are made so that they can be moved on a flatbed truck. If that were the case, you could even move it again if something were to happen such as whichever child you moved near, then got relocated by their job. That way you could pick up and move the home again. Not sure how feasible it really is, or if any on here have done it (or have any links to tiny home forums), but just throwing it out there as an idea. Again, my condolences and warm wishes for peace of mind during this awful time.
March 2, 2021 at 9:26 pm #34099
Thank you for the warm thoughts. I know all about the tiny houses as my daughter and I also used to joke about them. And now that she has closed on a house with 2.33 acres of land, I could put a tiny house on it. But for me I think that would be a bit cramped. My house is about 1800 square feet and just big enough. 3 bedrooms so when they all come down I have a place for them to stay. Granddaughter from Washington State is coming down the middle of this month and my daughter and son in law is also coming. So plenty of room for all of them. A tiny house would be a bit hard to have anyone come and stay with me. But it is a thought.

Well crud, a thumb finger just wiped out a rather lengthy response. I will start again later.
But for now, Little Sister so very sorry for your loss. It’s not the same but we lost a brother, comrade and father figure on the 13th and our “family” is still mentally reeling. Will keep you in mind when it comes time to ask for others.
March 5, 2021 at 8:53 pm #34164
Whilibird, I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I know even for a brother it is still just as hard for family members. Praying for your family to get through this also.
