They are trying to turn Virginia into CA. It’s not good here any longer. They keep jerry- mandering areas to make it so the Democrats will win. It won’t be long before we have that same behavior here.

I have read about Denver, Colorado, once being a fairly conservative city.
Then people from CA, who could no longer stand the high taxes, the big government, moved to Denver. And then brought along their CA ideas.
Colorado as a whole has suffered higher taxes, more big government as a result. -

This is happening elsewhere as well. I’m reading about Texas being flooded with outsiders and right here in Tennessee, Nashville is changing radically and not for the better in my opinion. Folks move to our states because they’re great places to live with low taxes and healthy, friendly, welcoming communities – but then bring their liberal/progressive crazy ideas with them which undermine the very things that drew them here in the first place.

Crow Bar,
The severe influx to Colorado happened in 1992, you watched the state slowly turn blue around the metro area.
Where there were conservatives once, the interlopers started to weasel their way into local, then state politics.
Boulder was once surprisingly conservative, behind the scenes and had one of the best shooting ranges in the state. And I used to know a bunch of “hippies” who had envious firearm collections.
We left right before it got stupid, almost 7 years ago now. It hasn’t gotten any better from what I hear.
