(Note: it is a Washington Post article)The seemingly belief in the article that it will be the political Right that will start a civil war to me is part of the discord on display for all to see.
Each side believes the other is the violent one, the ones who will start it all, and their side is completely free of any and all bad doing.
On one hand we have seen more and more people attacking others for wearing a MAGA hat. Used to be this kind of action was by people with questionable mental capabilities.
Now, not so much.
Used to be these attacks would be condemned.
Now they are applauded, even praised.
And MSM is not helping.
The question I have is to what lengths will we see both sides go to?
Riots?
More attacks?
Come election night, could we see people out in mass and force attempting to block anyone from the other party the polling place?
We might look back as the election of 2016 as the good ol days. -
So true Crow Bar. Things are going to heat up. It is to a point in time where wearing a MAGA hat or anything else that might link you to a political party could cause you to be attacked. Everytime I see bumper stickers on cars that state who someone voted for is an accident waiting to happen. We are coming to a point where we need to just keep quiet about what side we are on. But what will that get us? We have blocked all political parties from calling on all sides and I am over the news. I watch the local news and hubby keeps up with the rest. It to me is nothing but brain washing. Both parties will lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. I am already waiting for a civil war to break out. If not a world war. So yes this is going to be a very long drawn out bunch of evil on both sides.

I don’t “stand down”. I often go to the gym wearing my “Come and take it” or “NRA” cap. But, I don’t live in Crazy Town and everyone is polite… so far. Should I ever be attacked for wearing ‘whatever’, the attacker will not walk away unscathed.
We are a divided nation. There will be no compromise. One side will eventually win.

Our side will win , because we are the ones that are armed , and our cause is just . Most of those guys , will run home , crawl under their bed , and crap their pants , once the bullets start flying . Remember the Antifa call for revolution ..? ………………….only a handful showed up …….the rest stayed home in case of bullets flying .

How can you claim moral high ground when silent on so many things that matter, if you haven’t read they are coming for your guns laws in place still nothing……
They keep passing laws that are morally bankrupt still no blow back, there is no right side just less messed up ones.

Crowbar the right (republican) voted to curb your gun rights as well, it’s time to stop left right paradigm, the government is basically a tyranical occupying force. Tell me one time any governement has done something for the people it is supposed to serve? Everything is done to forward corperate interests and the rich.
How much more kumbya are you willing to sit and partake in crowbar long time past change through protest and lobbying. What will they have to do that will push it over the edge or will it be like alexander solzhenitsyn anger once in the gulag of fema about doing nothing?

Catching wild pigs
There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his bac. he had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist regime.
In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: Do you know how to catch wild pigs? The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punchline.
The young man said it was no joke. You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. the pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down on one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs which are used to the free corn start to come through the gate to eat that free corn. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole heard. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America. The government keeps pushing Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.
One should always remember two truths. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you see that all of this wonderful government “help” is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to send this to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you might want to delete this.
But God help us all if the gate slams shut.

Dont get me wrong, there are those on the Right (extreme) that are, well, a few short of a six pack.
Generally they are few and far in between, and most of those who are just right, dismiss them, or even disavow them. Get off my side you neo-nazi loon.Thing is, seems to me we are seeing more and more of seemingly perfectly normal people, who have gone full on bat-sheeot crazy. Assaulting anyone wearing a MAGA hat. Shouting down anyone who is not on their side as racist.

I think the trigger could possibly be those states who are now in the midst of throwing out the electoral college system in anticipation of the upcoming election. They claim to want only the “popular vote” used to elect those from the president on down. The popular vote is basically mob rule. The Democrat Socialists have shown themselves very adapt at voter fraud in past elections. Republicans don’t seem to care as long as they can hold onto their piece of the pie – power and wealth. Should the Democrat Socialist take the Senate or the WH after not adhering to the electoral college system and instead claim they have the popular vote, all hell could break out in this country! Our Founders were not idiots. They had first-hand knowledge and experience about how a government can use mob rule to control, terrorize, and destroy political opponents. The electoral system acts to prevent that.

Once you decide popular vote is the way to go, that same mindset is easily extended to “Why should little hillbilly states get as many votes as NY & CA? It’s time to do away with the Senate!”
What this country needs is stronger application of the 10th Amendment, and leave anything outside of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, to the states alone to determine for themselves.
Then, if someone wants to live in a state that provides healthcare and a basic income, they should move to that state. -
The left is trying to take full control of we the people. So many have been brainwashed through public schools and colleges. We can’t believe half of what they say on TV and have to rely on internet to get the truth of what is really going on.
They will try hard to have gun control along with other things we have no idea of what as of yet. But it will not be good for we the people.
Now there is this global “green” new deal. This is more brainwashing and is the one world government trying to sink it’s dirty little tactics on us. It has nothing to do with global warming which I never believed that hogwash anyway. Our weather patterns over many, many, many years have changed and this is nothing new. We are in the end times and earthquakes and tornadoes are happening more and more. Nothing to do with global warming nor this so called green new deal. It is an act of God. The Bible states it very clear what will happen in the end of days. We are very close to that now.
Big government wants full control of its citizens and to do that they have to have gun control and so much more. Watch out as I have a bad feeling about our food supply. One world government is coming and we can do nothing to stop it. They will do everything in their power to control us. First with our guns and the rest is history. They will do everything in their power to strip us of the Constitution.
